Position Summary:
Performs administrative and clinical duties assigned for all patients. As a member of a care team, support goal achievement, organizational quality and patient centered care. Incorporate core organizational values of quality, respect, integrity, partnership and compassion in all activities and decisions. Comply with organizational policies, procedures, standards of care and related laws and regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA and all accreditation agency regulations.
Essential Functions:
* Responsible for knowing and following all clinical policy and procedure and accreditation requirements including documentation of all patient information accurately and timely into EMR
* Complete intake interview for new and returning patients.
* Prepare patients for medical exams consistent with reason for visit; assist provider with exams, as requested.
* Perform related duties necessary to ensure quality patient care as requested by supervisor, including addressing barriers to care when the patient has not met treatment goals
* Process all tasks, route tasks appropriately in a timely manner.
* Administer vaccines at the direction of a provider.
General Duties:
* Work collaboratively by mentoring new and existing care team members, building bridges and creating rapport with team members across the organization.
* Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with regulatory agencies and established organizational policies and procedures.
* Must adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, accreditation.
* Complete all duties assigned timely and accurately.
* Minimum of 2 years experience in an MA role.
