Currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join the team of a leading company in NW Portland. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and quality of materials entering and leaving the facility.

Job Title: Inventory Shipping/Receiving Clerk

Salary: $25 /hour

Location: NW Portland

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments of raw materials.

· Verify accuracy against purchase orders and shipping documents.

· Document and categorize incoming materials according to established protocols.

· Identify and document any visible damage or irregularities in incoming shipments.

· Coordinate with operations team to ensure materials meet specified standards.

· Facilitate seamless integration of materials into the production process.

· Update and maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.

· Conduct routine physical inventory counts, addressing discrepancies promptly.

· Inspect the quality of incoming product.

· Identify and report discrepancies or defects in incoming product.

· Maintain accurate records of received and shipped quantities of materials.

· Maintain a comprehensive documentation system.

· Implement a digitized recordkeeping system for accessibility and efficiency.

· Regularly review and update documentation processes to align with company standards.

· Verify counts to match the incoming quantity.

· Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to incoming/ outgoing shipments.

· Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the incoming and outgoing processes.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Proven experience in shipping/receiving or inventory management.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
