Job Description
We are seeking a 3rd shift dispatcher to work with a growing client of ours in Chino, CA. You will be responsible for high volume dispatch calls management, route planning and additional administrative duties as needed. Candidates MUST HAVE PORTS/DRAYAGE experience.
Schedule: M-F; 6:00pm-2:30am
Pay: $20.00-23.00/hour DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as a liaison for the day-to-day routing between Customer Care, Inbound Logistics, Shipping and Transportation.
- Verify items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, noting discrepancies.
- Reviews weekly demand/volume for routes
- Re-routes, Plans, distributes, monitors and preforms follows-up on daily route assignments
- Communicates changes to shipping, transportation and customers as needed in real time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 2 years of dispatching experience required
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in drayage/port dispatching required
- Must have strong Microsoft computer skills
