Ultimate Image Printing is a fast-paced and quickly growing printing company specializing in digital, offset, and large format printing. We are currently inviting professional, full-time Assistant Production Manager to apply and join our team to help manage our print, finishing, and fabrication departments.
Job Summary:
An Assistant Production Manager leads and/or assists in the finishing of printed projects. They are friendly, observant, and able to represent our company in the best light possible. They are able to communicate with other team members and offer opinions to add value to our company. Monday - Friday - Day Shifts (8:00am - 5:00pm) available.
Job Responsibilities:
Safely operate equipment, following rules and training manuals.
Complete projects within a specified timeframe while maintaining high levels of quality.
Understand the instructions given by their manager fully.
Check-in with project managers regarding job status, issues, and/or questions.
Assist with installations of vinyl decals on vehicles, windows, walls, and other surfaces.
Understand the documents that are associated with each order.
Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
Assist in print or other areas and "go where the work is"
Key Skills:
Manage and develop a team of individuals in a professional and motivating way.
Experience in a sign/wide format print production environment.
Proficient at reading work orders and fully understanding verbal and written instructions.
Dependable and energetic.
Excellent organizational skills.
Trimming and cutting printed products on tables.
Operate CNC/ZUND machine.
Finishing of banners (sewing/welding)
Ensure a clean and efficient work environment
Forklift certification is a plus.
Operate laminating machine and mounter
Know of, and be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
Able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers.
Able to remain calm and function effectively in stressful, unexpected, and/or emergency situations.
Able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment.
Read, write, speak and understand English.
Be able to measure to fractions of an inch, to help perform outside site surveys and record measurements as requested.
Light fabrication work and use of power tools.
