Position: Quality Control Inspector

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description: Final Inspection of PDC Drill Bits to drawing specifications

Responsibilities include:

• Perform product Final Inspection on newly built and repaired product.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections with close attention to detail and repaired products.
• Ensure shop travelers and documentation is complete and correct.
• Acceptance and rejection of final product.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Follow work instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other inspections, as required.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. Attention to detail for long periods of time, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs. Must be able to use or learn to use OD ring gauges, thread lead and profile gauges, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring equipment. Must be able to read and interpret inspection requirements in procedures and on all documents contained in the shop travelers. Some experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Must be able to operate lifting equipment and lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and have good vision.
