THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: 

In this role, you will provide insights to the Digital Experience team for a portfolio of existing and new guest facing digital products. The Senior Data & Insights Analyst plays a crucial role in driving our digital experience strategy by using their analytical skills and deep understanding of user behavior to provide valuable insights and recommendations that will enhance our digital products. This role will use several methods of collecting guest insights to evaluate new opportunities for new or existing experiences. The Senior Data & Insights Analyst will utilize data to evaluate a challenger/champion process to determine new development opportunities. A key area of responsibility will be on executing user group analysis to assess if new solutions are on the right track based on guest feedback and data.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

  • Review quantitative and qualitative user research to gather insights on user behavior and preferences for the website and app while supporting the Digital Experience team.
  • Analyze data from various sources (Medallia, App Store Reviews, Guest Services) to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement in the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute user experience strategies.
  • Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Digital UX and Design team members to develop and maintain user personas and journey maps to inform product design and development.
  • Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the success of user experience initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user experience research and data analysis.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Mentor and guide members of the Digital Experience team in data analysis techniques.
  • Communicate and present insights and recommendations to all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with product managers, product owners and designers to prioritize and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Continuously monitor and report on the user experience, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for future enhancements.
  • Use analytical tools in pairing with session replay tools to validate problems and identify areas of opportunity and formulate recommendations for digital experience and merchandising/content optimization.
  • Be an expert in various tools to be able to evaluate guest insights, including but not limited to Quantum Metric, Adobe Analytics, Medallia, & the Apple/Google App Stores.
  • Utilize data as a means of supporting fact-based decisions on digital experience designs.
  • Develop reporting and be able to present findings to digital stakeholders
  • Develop and run ad hoc reports and analysis to support the Digital Experience roadmap.

ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably with an emphasis in UX design, marketing, business, or analytics.
  • 5 years of relevant digital analytics, user experience, web development, or marketing experience, preferably for an omni-channel retail brand
  • Strong writing and verbal communications, including research and analytical presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in research, analysis, creative thinking, and problem solving.
  • Experience using insights software (e.g., Quantum Metric, Medallia, Adobe Analytics), developing tagging, analyzing data and presenting findings.
  • Drive for improving the user experience and using data to drive decision making.
  • Ability to communicate well via various forums to all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter who can prioritize, manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality deliverables.
  • Must be a team player and a self-starter who can independently assess a situation and determine where a business need lies.
  • Microsoft Suite proficiency required.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, build partnerships and work cross functionally.
