We are seeking a professional with previous tax experience for seasonal tax preparation work. The ideal candidate will have between 2-3 years of experience in Personal Tax Preparation. The ideal candidate enjoys a small office environment and has a flexible, get-it-done attitude. We value integrity, professionalism and positive attitude. Flexible hours (9 am to 3 pm). This is a part-time or full-time position with daytime hours and will be in office (not a remote position).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual tax returns utilizing the information provided by the clients, and inputting into tax preparation software
• Prepare tax returns in accordance with firm policies, ensure information is accurately represented
• Take ownership of work by following through to completion and communicating statuses with the management team

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting and tax preparation required
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments of varying sizes and complexity within a given time frame and budget while maintaining a high level of work quality
• Ability to communicate in professional manner
• Confidentiality - Uses discretion and good judgement when working with confidential information and/or issues
• Must be able to maintain a calm demeanor in stressful circumstances
• Must be flexible and comfortable working in a team-oriented and collaborative management environment
• Availability to work February 2022 through mid-April 2022
• Software Experience with Adobe, Microsoft Office, Drake and Intuit ProSeries
