UIC is Hiring a Part-Time Customer Service Representative - 6W MICU Near Chicago, IL

Work Schedule: Weekends 7:00am-7:30pm

Position Summary

The Customer Service Representative performs customer service duties on an ongoing basis in an assigned nursing unit as well as assists in providing quality patient care and services.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responds and researches complex inquiries from customers that the department serves and clarifies or solves issues based on policies and procedures.
  • Composes complex correspondence and creates documentation/records.
  • Maintains a record of interactions and updates department leaders on client issues or trends that require improvements and suggests improvements.
  • Develops and updates department communication or records while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Provides administrative support by accurately transcribing information or notes and performing data entry
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.
