Position Summary:
IT Accessibility Program Coordinator will support and assist to advance the implementation of UIC IT accessibility policies and training. Additionally, this position will help promote programs and educational initiatives focused on IT accessibility. The IT Accessibility Program Coordinator will also assist with developing and monitoring the UIC Accessibility Liaison program.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Coordinate communications related to the implementation of the UIC ICT Policy.

Organize and facilitate IT accessibility training sessions and related programs.

Promote programs and events focused on ICT accessibility.

Assist in developing and managing the UIC Accessibility Liaison program.

Monitor and document accessibility education initiatives within the UIC community.

Disseminate information about ICT accessibility programs and events through various communication mediums, including the IT Accessibility website.

Aid in preparing the annual ICT accessibility report.

Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
