UIC is Hiring an Adjunct Teaching Associate (Part-time) - UIC Law Near Chicago, IL

Position Summary
The UIC School of Law, Chicago'sonly public law school, is seeking a highlymotivated and passionate Adjunct Teaching Associates to joinour team and teach courses in the Juris Doctor program. This is a part-time, non-tenure-track position offering anopportunity to contribute to the intellectual development of future legalprofessionals.
Adjunct facultyare part-time positions, normally appointed for one semester at a time, andteach one or two courses in an academic year. Teaching associates teach orco-teach courses in the law school’s Academic Achievement Program, including JD401 Expert Learning, an introductory course for first-year students, and threebar preparation courses: LAW 531 Bar Essay Writing, LAW 532 Writing for thePractice of Law, and LAW 530 Legal Fundamentals Review and Test Taking Skills.
Courses are taught online or in person at our downtown Chicago campus,during the day or evening. A learning managementsystem is used to post syllabi and other materials and communicate withstudents. Teaching associates are required to participate in orientation andtraining sessions and to comply with academic and institutional policies.
