UNIT TRAINING MANAGER (AFMDS):

Bowhead is seeking a Unit Training Manager (UTM) at Shaw AFB, SC to support 15th Air Force in advising, assisting, advocating, integrating, and certifying (A3IC) its Force Elements at assigned wings and Direct Reporting Units (DRU). The UTM schedules and tracks training for 15 AF HQ Staff personnel. The UTM also assist the contract Unit Deployment Manager and Personnel Readiness Monitor to manage the pre-deployment training requirements for 15 AF HQ Staff personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage On-the-Job Training (OJT) roster, Upgrade Training Program (UGT), personnel Training Status Codes (TSC), and Career Development Course Program (CDC) for 15 AF HQ Staff personnel
• Create and maintain a Total Force Annual Training (TFAT) database
• Manage myLearning Learning Management System (LMS) including updating, loading, and certifying course training and certificates
• Conduct and identify trend analysis and unit-training shortfalls to senior 15 AF HQ leadership
• Assist in anticipating, identifying, and incorporating training requirements generated by programmed changes in equipment, systems, applications, personnel, or operational procedures
• Assist customer to define the hardware and software requirements and configurations for exercises both at home and deployed
• Maintain the Mission Essential Task Lists (METL) pertaining to Unit Training Manager duties and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with Combatant Command and Service Specific Pre-Deployment training requirements, and the systems used to track/report said training
• Secret security clearance
• 10 years of experience supporting systems to track and report Combatant Command and Service Specific Pre-Deployment training requirements is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university also preferred.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.
