UHY LLP is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Clarkston, MI

A great UHY client is seeking both a Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidates will have manufacturing experience, strong excel and analysis skills, and strong collaborating skills.

The Financial Analyst role is an onsite position, with the opportunity to go 1-2 days remote after training is completed. This is a client direct hire position.

Financial Analyst Job Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting/forecasting models and evaluation of various scenarios
  • Development of complex excel models to evaluate program launches
  • Research, data mining and analysis of financial info
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams
  • Develop summarization of results and present to execs (Controller, plant manager, and members from corporate executive team)
  • Responsiveness and attention to detail required

Financial Analyst Required Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor degree required, with a major in accounting or finance
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a financial analyst required
  • Manufacturing experience required, automotive industry preferred
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with large ERP systems, SAP preferred
  • Strong financial and data analysis skills
  • Very Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow-up and see tasks/research through
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
