A great UHY client is seeking a Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have controllership experience, experience working in a family-owned company, and manufacturing or similar experience.

The Controller role is an onsite position with some flexibility. This is a client direct hire position.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations, including general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, financial report writing, forecasting, and regulatory reporting
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant regulations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits
• Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations

Controller Qualifications:

• Controllership experience
• Experience working in a family-owned company
• Manufacturing or similar experience
• CPA highly preferred, but not required
• ERP experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
