A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant/Assistant Controller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel experience, a degree in accounting or finance, and strong month end close and account reconciliation experience.

This is an onsite position that will become hybrid after completing a 90 day training.

Senior Staff Accountant/Assistant Controller Responsibilities:

• Month-end close and related tasks
• Account reconciliation and journal entries
• Analyze financial data to provide insights on improving performance
• Various financial analysis to support accurate financial reporting

Senior Staff Accountant/Assistant Controller Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related
• 4 – 5 years of experience with general ledger accounting and monthly close processes
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage time well.
