A great UHY client is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role, very advanced Excel skills, and experience with developing complex financial models and budgets/forecasts. skills.

The Senior Financial Analyst will have a hybrid schedule. It is anticipated that there will be more in-office meetings for the first 6 to 8 weeks, and will transition to 3 or 4 days remote over time. This is a client direct hire position.

Senior Financial Analyst Key Responsibilities:

• Work with executive leadership to develop complex financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
• Act as a change agent and thought leader – pursue opportunities to streamline processes and implement efficiencies
• Assist with the ERP implementation
• Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement through thorough analysis and scenario planning.
• Prepare and distribute regular financial reports and variance analyses to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
• Partner with department heads to evaluate financial performance against targets and provide actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Operations, Sales, and Marketing to support business initiatives and drive informed decision-making.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management by providing financial insights and recommendations that align with organizational objectives.
• Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting mechanisms and enhance data visualization to facilitate decision-making processes.
• Implement best practices in financial analysis and reporting to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Undertake ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required, including scenario modeling.
• Respond to inquiries from management and other stakeholders by providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis.

Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting roles.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
