The MA will receive and screen inbound calls, provide information per department/hospital policy, and routes calls appropriately. Will handle patient vital signs, rooming, and triaging. Assists physician in examinations/procedures. Cleans and prepares exam/procedure room between patients. Prepares patient to be seen by physician; escorts patient to examination room and records information in patient charts Will handle occasional scheduling and coordinate appointments as necessary. Obtain relevant diagnostic test results prior to patient appointments. Greets patients, visitors, and staff to the office, determines their needs and assists them accordingly.
