Clive Behavioral Health (CBH) is a modern, state-of-the-art, 134-bed licensed inpatient behavioral health hospital. Operating on two campuses in Iowa, Clive Behavioral Health West opened in February 2021 with 100 inpatient beds for adult, child & adolescent patients experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis. Care at our new hospital focuses on crisis management, stabilization, and development of a plan to return to community living. Clive Behavioral Health Des Moines is a 34-bed inpatient unit located on the MercyOne Des Moines campus. Care at this location is for adults experiencing a severe behavioral health crisis.

Licensed Practial Nurse

The Licensed Practical Nurse is a licensed professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. 12 hour shift 7am - 7pm with rotating weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited program LPN program. Degree required from an accredited School of Nursing.

Experience:  A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Iowa State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification and training in appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 30 days of employment. Successful completion of Handle with Care training and Service Excellence Training during new hire Orientation
