Summary
The Lead Therapist will provide supervision to therapists on an as needed basis under the direction of the director of clinical services. The Lead Therapist shall demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with both clients and staff, and prioritize the multiple demands of the position. Excellent judgment and clinical skills are essential for this position. The Lead Therapist is responsible for their own clinical growth through the attendance of in-services, presentations, and other continuing education activities. In addition, the Lead Therapist shall carry a caseload of approximately 5-6 residents. The Lead therapist will assist director of clinical services with administrative tasks, administrative supervision of therapists, and provide oversight and implementation of clinical programs.
QualificationsRequirements:
A minimum of two years’ experience working with children and adolescents. Experience tracking clinical outcomes and implementation of clinical programs. Additional clinical certifications and trainings including but not limited to: Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. Licensed in the State of Florida (LMFT, LMHC, and LCSW).
