Position Summary:

We are looking for Per Diem Group Therapists. Our Group Therapists provide patients with the opportunity to learn and grow by teaching valuable skills applicable to everyday life in a group setting. They work with patients 1:1 to implement individualized treatment plans, helping each patient reach their/her/his specific goals. They are also valuable members of a multidisciplinary team which allows the Group Therapists to collaborate on treatment decisions and to help create treatment plans.

Qualifications

Education:

Required – Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health profession and mental health field experience. Current WA State license in a mental health profession - LMHCA, LMFTA, or Social Worker Associate. Associate licensees must provide proof of Approved Supervisor documented with WA Department of Health and be on track for full licensure.

Preferred – Independent license as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT with 3 years post-Master's degree experience in a psychiatric health care setting.

Additional requirements:

• Direct experience with group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning required
• Strong clinical assessment and case conceptualization skills required
• Required trainings provided by Fairfax – CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-escalation
