Position Summary:

The Admission RN (PHP/IOP) is responsible for all aspects of patient care from admissions to discharge in the outpatient programs. Provides, directs, and guides patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for specific patient population served. Ensures that high standards of professional nursing are maintained. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and Quality Management efforts.

Walk-In Wednesdays - Interviews for RNs on Wednesday from 9am-12pm.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: Must pass a medication administration exam before administering medications. CPR certification and CPI certification (Management of Aggressive Behavior) including restraint and seclusion policies, within 90 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures. Training can be obtained during new hire orientation.

Hours:  Monday through Friday (8 hour shifts)
