The UHS Corporate Marketing Department is hiring a Web Designer who will be responsible for creating digital designs and user experiences for all of our UHS facilities and subsidiaries. This role has an eye for clean and artful web and digital design and should also have superior user interface design skills.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Lead and participate in the design of multiple interactive websites & digital solutions
• Work with content and user experience team to develop new assets and improve existing ones
• Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex roadblocks
• Create a modular, documented and systematic approach to design properties that translate well to web development
• Develop and Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
• Lead the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
• Create and deliver wireframes, process flows, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
• Identify design problems and create elegant solutions
• Lead strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
• Participate meetings with appropriate stakeholders to determine design deliverables and needs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 1 - 3 years' web design experience.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating skills in graphic and web design as well as core design principles.
• Proficient with common design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch and Figma.
Proven knowledge of web-based design trends, patterns, usability, optimization and best practices
• Experience with Prototyping tools such as Invision, Marvel, Sketch
• Experience with programming languages such as HTML5, CSS3, SASS, CSS Frameworks such as Foundations or Bootstrap are a plus
• Knowledge of task management software such as Teamwork, Asana, Trello, Basecamp
• Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision
