At Cedar Hills, our team of board-certified psychiatrists, internal medicine and family physicians, licensed therapists, and dedicated nursing staff provide individualized, continuum of care treatment in a stigma-free environment for adults aged 18 and over.
Education: High School Diplomas required.
Licensure: None required
Experience: 1-2 years psychiatric experience preferred
Drivers License: Required.
The Driver/Psychiatric Transport employee will provide transportation for both inpatient and outpatient level patients of Cedar Hills Hospital. Transports will range from short, local transports to longer distance transports up to 10-12 hour round trips. The driver is responsible for safely transporting patients of the facility in a company vehicle.
This is an on-call schedule, hour are variable depending on transportation requests. Additional tasks can include fleet maintenance, and assisting with in-office functions including: cleaning, running errands, and some office/administrative support.
A successful person in this role is someone who has experience with psychiatric patients, is willing/able to drive long hours, has a clean driving record, and is a team player.
