SUMMARY: Performs venipuncture and processes patient specimens for analysis or other medical purposes. Must be able to work with infants and geriatric patients.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

HOURS: Per Diem, Monday-Friday shifts will vary; Saturday 7:00am-12:00pm

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED required. Possess Phlebotomy and Advanced Phlebotomy certificate from an accredited training institute.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: California State Phlebotomy Tech I certificate required. BLS certification required.
