Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy the Pharmacist provides drug information and assists physicians and nursing staff in providing appropriate drug therapy for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Compounds, prepares, mixes, manufactures and dispenses medicines and preparations. Oversees medications prepared by pharmacy technicians. In the absence of the Director of Pharmacy, a staff pharmacist may be required to perform the function of pharmacist in charge.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCEMinimum of 1-year experience as a Pharmacist or Health System Residency completed.Preferred 1-3 years of Hospital experience.
