We are looking for a qualified Nursing Supervisor to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients. The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the staffing, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for psychiatric and chemically dependent patients during each designated shift. Also, responsible for the operational and programmatic management of the designated shift; and assists in the professional growth and development of nursing staff, and directly supervises employees in their respective units, and carries out supervisory responsibilities. This position is responsible for planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems when needed.The Nursing Supervisor will oversee all unit activities including, but not limited to, admissions, discharges, crisis intervention, restraint and/or seclusion, and Baker Acts.
Full time - 36 hours a week (7:00 pm - 7:30 am)

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida. Certification in psychiatric nursing preferred. Requires three (3) years experience as a Registered Nurse with at least two (2) in psychiatric nursing preferred. One (1) year of nursing supervisory experience required. Knowledge of current nursing procedures, the nursing process, medications and their correct administration.
