Position Summary:

The Advance Practitioner Nurse (APN) is a nurse leader and integral member of the multidisciplinary team. This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordination patient care from admission to discharge as well as treating patients on an outpatient basis. The Advance Practitioner Nurse is responsible for assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes in accordance with the mission for the hospital.

Qualifications

Educations/ Licensure: Master’s Degree in Nursing/ Mental Health emphasis required.

Current, clean TX licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) and as a psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP. Demonstrated competency in clinical mental health practice with minimum of 3 years of nursing experience as an RN.

Experience in behavioral health or institutional setting strongly preferred.

Work Hours: Days and as needed; an exempt position
