UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a Material's Handler Supervisor - Full Time Near WILDOMAR, CA

Responsibilities

Join our SWHS Team of Professionals!

SWHS consists of two acute-care hospitals: Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center.

Inland Valley Medical Center

A 122 bed acute care hospital which features the regions only Level II Trauma Unit and is the county-designated Paramedical Base station and Southwest Riverside County’s only Center of Excellence in Weight Loss Surgery.

Rancho Springs Medical Center

A 120 bed acute care hospital which includes the region’s largest birthing center along with the area’s only NICU in combination with Rady Children’s Hospital and the region’s first da Vinci Robotic Surgical Program.

As a staff member providing support expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care and customer service by sharing your talent in your chosen field. Staff will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement.

Qualifications

1. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Ø Must have demonstrated knowledge of acute care purchasing concepts and supplies.

Ø Effective communication skills – verbal and written.

Ø Demonstrated leadership skills of:

1. Negotiation

2. Team building and leading

3. Problem solving

4. Staff development

5. Customer service

6. Standards, conflict resolution

2. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Ø On the job acute care purchasing/materials management experience of at least five years is preferred.

3. MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

Ø Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.

Ø Courses in purchasing, business, and personnel administration preferred.

Ø On the job acute care purchasing/materials management experience of at least five years is preferred.

Ø Formal management/leadership experience of, at least, Supervisor or Management level.

4. REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS

None.

5. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ø Office and light warehouse or storeroom setting. 

Ø Some minor lifting may be required.
