Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient and residential treatment services for ages 5-17. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground. POSITION SUMMARY: 

Positions working with our Children/Adolescent treatment program. Under the supervision of the Chief Nursing Officer, the LPN provides physical assessments of residents, implements patient treatment plans, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, administers medications as prescribed and provides health care education for patients and families. Supervises the daily duties of the Mental Health Techs and ensures patient safety. Performs duties in accordance with the OK Board of Nursing, ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards.

Qualifications

Certification/License:

• Current OK LPN license required.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year psychiatric experience in mental health nursing preferred.

Shift:

• 7am-3:30pm Full time 40 hours with every other weekend rotation.
