We are currently looking for an RN House Supervisor. The House Supervisor provides continuous nursing care in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Nursing Services. As a key team member in the clinical area, the House Supervisor promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services on assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing. Functions as representative for the Director of Nursing, in the Director of Nursing’s absence. The House supervisors are designed to improve communication, limit inconsistencies throughout the facility, and provide a safe and less stressful work environment. House Supervisors will help everyone work as a team because we should be part of the solution, not the problem.

Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing or baccalaureate program required; Current licensure as a Registered Nurse through the State of CA Board of Registered Nursing required.

Additional Requirements: Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Incumbent may be required to work variable shifts, overtime and flexible hours. Completion of Handle with Care class within 30 days of employment and prior to participating in a code green is required.
