Responsibilities:
River Crest Hospital (a UHS facility):
River Crest Hospital is a modern, 80-bed psychiatric hospital, specializing in the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders that can afflict individuals of all ages, from children and teens, to adults and the elderly. We provide acute inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and addiction treatment programs. We are located in San Angelo, Texas. Position Summary:

The Director of Clinical Services provides the leadership and strategic planning of the clinical services programs offered at the facility, ensuring programs meet the needs of the community and the facility’s performance goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the overall administrative processes and management systems for all clinical services offered at the facility, promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, and development and implementation of a clinical treatment programs.

Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS


Education
: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, social work, or related mental health field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in psychiatric/mental health field. Prefer candidates with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical/management practice.

License: Appropriate state licensure in mental health. Preference will be given to candidates holding a LCSW licensure or greater.

Additional Requirements: A strong knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, OSHA regulations, and patient rights standards and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities.
