UHS of Delaware, Inc. is Hiring a CLINICAL MANAGER Near GREENVILLE, TX

Responsibilities

Glen Oaks Hospital is a 54-bed private mental health hospital in a relaxed setting in Greenville, Texas. Our comfortable, homelike atmosphere is conducive to healing for the adults and seniors we treat. Our greatest asset is the staff, comprised of psychiatrists, professional nurses, social workers and therapists. These individuals work as a team to uphold Glen Oaks Hospital’s reputation for excellence in helping patients resolve mental health and addiction problems. For nearly 30 years, Glen Oaks Hospital has been a leader in the field of mental health and chemical dependency care, and our staff is dedicated to researching the latest treatment approaches and applying this to our overall treatment philosophy.

The Clinical Manager assists the Director of Clinical Services in the leadership and planning of the clinical services department. Responsibilities include promotion and maintenance of a therapeutic environment, assist and oversee clinicians, perform social services functions to include assisting patients in meeting their biopsychosocial needs while enabling them to access through therapeutic treatment skills to achieve their optimal level of emotional health.

Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field preferred.

Experience: Three (3) years’ experience as a Program Therapist in a psychiatric health care facility preferred.

License: Program Therapist must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-Intern, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license required.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within 30 days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
