The Project Manager, Project Management Office, provides Project Management for a variety of IT project initiatives within a portfolio, owned by the UGI Corp CIO and IT Strategy Manager, which includes both application and infrastructure projects. The IT organization is currently decentralized, however the portfolio strives to take advantage of opportunities to leverage scale and improve efficiency where beneficial to the full family of UGI companies. The role is to hands-on project manage key initiatives, from support on developing the business case and project charter, participating in the vendor and team selection, driving project planning, identifying and managing risks, managing the team to deliver the project objectives and providing full transparency on progress, risks and issues and project financials. Given the distributed nature of the organization, communications and stakeholder engagement skills are critical as the incumbent will also work with business unit and functional leadership teams. Key responsibilities include: Project management of one or a subset of projects in the overall Corp project portfolio, with detailed responsibilities outlined below.
