UF Health Shands Hospital is Hiring an Exercise Specialist Near Gainesville, FL
Job Opening Summary
Provides exercise training and wellness activities to the members of the Shands Rehab Center's wellness programs. Educates members, health professionals and students about wellness.
Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in exercise science or related area.
- NATA, APTA, NSCA, ACSM, State of Florida and/or ACE certification desirable within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in health care or wellness environment desired.
- Knowledge of AV and computer technology for presentations a benefit.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- State of Florida ATC, State of Florida PT, NATA, APTA, NSCA, ACE and/or ACSM.
Shift hours: 5:30 a.m. - 9 p.m., Monday-Saturday, TBD
