Your primary responsibility will be to ingest data from internal and external sources; reconcile financial and taxation data, aggregate B2C data and transform it into Accounting entries for the Finance team. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely data processing, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven insights and enhance business operations.

What you'll be doing
  • Financial Data Management: Lead and oversee the overall management of finance and taxation data assets, including data acquisition, storage, and transformation processes.
  • Data Ingestion and Aggregation: Partner and support Analytics Engineering team to implement robust strategies to efficiently ingest and aggregate B2C transaction data from various sources into Redshift and Snowflake data warehouses.
  • Data Transformation: Provide detailed requirements and partner with the Analytics Engineering team to design and implement data transformation processes to convert raw B2C transaction data into Accounting entries
  • Quality Assurance: Implement data quality controls and validation checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the processed data.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize data processing pipelines to enhance efficiency, reduce latency, and improve overall system performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, and Business Intelligence, to understand data requirements, align priorities, and provide insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Data Governance: Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and best practices to maintain data quality, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of data engineers and analysts, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise to foster their professional growth and ensure project success.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data management technologies and industry trends, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
What you'll have
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise data management, with a focus on data ingestion, aggregation, and transformation using Redshift and Snowflake platforms.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to analyze complex data structures and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business needs and technologies, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Technical Skills:
