UCLA Health Careers is Hiring a Senior Statistician Near Los Angeles, CA

DescriptionThe Department of Medicine is currently seeking an experienced Senior Statistician to join our team. In this role, you will spearhead database construction, oversee data management, and comprehensive statistical analysis. As a key collaborator, you will liaise with staff and faculty members, offering expertise in data management, quality control, statistical modeling, and the design of study databases. The ideal candidate must possess the technical prowess to work with statistical software tools such as SAS, R, STATA, etc., as well as spreadsheet programs, database management systems, and graphing software. It's essential that you demonstrate a solid understanding of data management and statistical analysis principles, ensuring that best practices are adhered to in all tasks. Finally, in this role, you will independently engage with collaborators to deliver customized statistical analyses, craft statistical sections for manuscripts and grant applications, and succinctly summarize statistical findings. Annual range: $78,800-$175,000
