DescriptionThe Semel Institute is seeking to hire a full time Contract Research Associate / Analyst to work on Community-Based Prevention Research and Resource Development Activities. Duties include: * Manage the preparation and submission of IRB/human subject applications to the Office for the Protection of Research Subjects. * Collaborate with Project leadership to develop and manage evaluation assessments and conduct qualitative field work. * Oversee communication with Prevention and Early Intervention county-level providers from across California who are working with California Department of Healthcare Services (DHCS). * Work with Project Leads to analyze data using thematic analysis and prepare regular reports for funders. * Coordinate communication with community-based pilot providers, collect qualitative, survey, and observational data, and prepare it for analysis. * Manage all data collection evaluation activities and write summary reports. * Manage the research dissemination, technology transfer, educational, and technical assistance events. * Support technical needs of the project including gathering and preparing content for website and repository. * Prepares, edits and modifies documents including research reports, manuscripts, presentations and proposals. * Prepare travel reimbursements as needed. * Develop presentations using online search engines of research articles, pictures, and other electronic media to make presentations more interesting and appealing to audiences. * Maintain research dissemination activity. * Other duties as assigned. Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $26.48 - $53.40 hourly. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is about $26.48 - $32.00 hourly.
