DescriptionThe Radiation Oncology (Head & Neck Service) PA functions in an interdependent provider who is able to change treatment regimen after observing signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to treatment, general behavior, and physical condition and determines if they are abnormal findings. In collaboration with the supervising physician, attending physicians, fellows, and residents, the PA is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for patients in the Radiation Oncology Department. The PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The PA also participates in interdisciplinary and clinical rounds, tumor boards, and provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals. Document services rendered. This position is primarily based in Westwood, but may be required to work in Santa Monica and other community sites as needed. Salary range: $72.77- $97.92/hourly
