You will oversee and support our Cancer Registry team that covers Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital, as well as all surgical and ambulatory health areas. This will involve the timely and accurate abstraction of data from clinical records for reportable and non-reportable cancers. You will also develop and support registry follow-up services and recruit/develop CTR staff. You will: • Identify, recruit, train, manage, and motivate staff • Plan, prioritize, and use effective time management • Prepare, monitor, and manage departmental budgets • Drive optimization projects to enhance team performance • Abstract clinical and pathological information with a high level of accuracy • Report cancer data to the state according to mandated timeframes • Review case finding resources • Act as a resource on abstracting and reportability of cases • Provides subject matter expertise related to CA Registry services • Provide accurate cancer data to the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Program for grant support • Help design and analyze cancer data research requests Annual Salary Range: $86,900.00 - $197,300.00 Fixed-Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm (PST)
