DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Perfusion is responsible for managing the day-to-day clinical operation and the administrative functions of the Cardiac Perfusion services and the ECMO Program and will report to the director of Perfusion. The assistant director may perform all duties independently in the absence of the director. The assistant director may be involved in the strategic short and long range planning, performance improvement, affirmative action, staff competency and research as needed to support the growth of the service line in collaboration with the director. The assistant director will also help establish and maintain departmental policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and all regulatory agencies including DHS, JCAHO, OSHA and other pertinent agencies. The assistant director will also provide leadership and direction for the staff while promoting quality, safe and cost-effective patient care in conjunction with and in absence of the director of Perfusion Services. The Assistant Director of Perfusion will report to the Director of Perfusion,but will be expected to work independently. Salary Range: $146,000 - $371,300 annually.
