Summary:
Provides security services to ensure a safe environment for staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:

• Performs proactive monitoring of and timely responses to potential/actual security threats.
• Investigates and manages all security incidents and hazards on the premises. Provides information and assistance to staff and visitors to promote their safety on the premises.
• Maintains knowledge/follows policies and procedures regarding alarms and emergency/disaster preparedness plans. Facilitates planned drills and simulations.
• Performs responsibilities of underlying job. Takes responsibility for, or provides guidance to team members on, the handling of complex or novel issues.
• Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED and completion of either a military or civilian law enforcement program.
• 3 years direct experience.
