UCF Athletics at the University of Central Florida, an NCAA Division I institution and Big 12 Conference member, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant / Associate A.D., Facilities.
Under the leadership of the Senior Executive Associate A.D. / COO, the selected candidate will oversee the maintenance all athletics facilities, to include daily/weekly inspection of facilities noting potential problems, condition deterioration, useful lifespan of existing equipment, and future repairs/renovations, as well as creating and providing an internal facilities condition assessment so that athletics can have a multi-year schedule for proper budgeting considerations. In this capacity, position serves as the lead on all minor projects (less than $2M) to ensure schedule, policy, and budget accountability with collaboration including coaches and other staff. Minimum qualifications: Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two (2) years appropriate experience; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four (4) years of appropriate experience. Prefer senior level experience within intercollegiate athletics with emphasis in facilities management, and proficiency in facility management software (Workday, Ebuilder, Microsoft Office). Strong communication, relationship building, and teamwork skills are also preferred. Due to the nature/scope of Athletics and Athletics events, position may require work on evenings, weekends, and holidays. As a UCF Athletics staff member, the selected candidate will be a person of integrity and character who shares a commitment for knowing and complying with NCAA, Conference, and institutional rules as they apply to the UCF Athletics program.
Cover letter, resume, and three professional references will be accepted until the positions are filled.
Note: the person selected for this position will be employed by UCF Athletics, which is a Direct Support Organization (DSO) of the University of Central Florida.
