Position Description

As a Solutions Architect for Integrations and Interoperability, you will be responsible for establishing architecture standards and practices in the use of integration and interoperability technologies. You will provide guidance to other solution architects, establish UCare's integration and interoperability future state architecture, and ensure all proposed solution designs advance this architecture direction. You will participate in architecture peer reviews, provide guidance and support for development teams and promote the use of interoperability standards in UCare.

• Serve as an architectural subject matter expert on integration techniques and interoperability standards (EDI, HL7, FHIR, etc.)

• Facilitate integration and interoperability architecture review and design solutions.

• Perform technical evaluations of integration and interoperability products in the market and provide guidance on defining the technology roadmap (approach, priority and timeframe) for transition from legacy integration platforms to cloud-based solutions.

• Contribute to the solution architecture knowledgebase of patterns and practices for integration and interoperability and ensure solution designs conform to these and related Enterprise Architecture standards.

• Model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models.

• Remain current with industry knowledge, best practices and standards and incorporate applicable technologies and standards into new and existing solutions.

• Evangelize architectural best practices and corporate direction.

Education

Bachelors in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Sciences discipline.

Required Experience

Ten years' experience with progressively increased levels of responsibility. Five years as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect.

Preferred Experience

Experience with HealthCare Payor. Service Orient/API Architecture. Object Oriented Fundamentals. Distributed technology such as .NET, building enterprise class services (scalable, available, secure, versioning). Experience with Enterprise Service Bus and API Gateway.
