Position Description

The Marketing Analyst is responsible for supporting UCare’s overall market research functions, as well as providing analytical reporting for key teams and departments. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating/managing marketing research projects from development to fieldwork, data analysis and reporting research results to stakeholders. Other analytical job duties include running marketing ROI, sales and marketing performance reports, monitoring and analyzing competitor data and trends, and generating enrollment trend reports upon demand.

• Gather and analyze data using surveys and available data/intelligence portals to provide Marketing managers with meaningful insights about the market and consumers for products across Medicare, Medicaid and Individual & Family Plans.

• Support the Marketing Analyst Senior in preparing research designs, project scheduling, budgeting, data analysis and reports generation.

• Develop survey questionnaires and/or focus group/IDI screener and interview guides.

• Collaborate with external agencies in drafting questionnaires, developing sampling plans and administering fieldwork.

• Monitor the progress of marketing research projects to ensure data is being collected in a timely and consistent manner.

• Create routine and ad hoc marketing research reports and presentations.

• Conduct ad hoc secondary research upon request from Marketing stakeholders.

• Assist the Senior Marketing Analyst in performing secondary research and/or data analysis requests for the Chief Growth Office and/or matrix teams (Marketing, Product, Sales, Customer Experience, etc.).

• Present research findings to small and medium audiences within the Marketing department and other audiences within UCare, as requested.

• Support the Marketing Analyst Senior with ad hoc marketing data analytics projects, as needed.

• Communicate research methods and findings to clients and stakeholders.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field required. Demonstrated experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

At least two years of experience in marketing research. Experience should include research design and planning, questionnaire/interview guide creation, fieldwork management, data analysis.

Preferred Experience

Experience in health care/managed care a plus.
