Comfortable troubleshooting websites and constantly improving their design, functionality, and User Experience (UX). This position requires a combination of programming skills (PHP, HTML, CSS, JS, etc.) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the color and font choices, and so on). Strong candidates will have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred. In addition, an understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge, is preferred. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high level of racial literacy given that UCR is an HSI, MSI, and AANAPISI located on Indigenous lands in what we now call the Inland Empire.
This position is eligible for hybrid work.
The full salary range for the Information Systems Analyst is $30.80 - $54.74 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $43.10 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
As a university employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
The University of California is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer with a strong institutional commitment to the achievement of excellence and diversity among its faculty and staff.
