Education Qualifications:

• Possess a high school diploma or GED certificate. Be a graduate from a medical
• assistant training program accredited by Commission on Accreditation of AlliedHealth Education Programs (CAAHEP), OR the Accrediting Bureau of HealthEducation Schools (ABHES) of the American Medical Technologists, OR aformal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces
• Possess a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Medical Assistant within the last

3 years. Provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two(2) years attesting to clinical skills. At least one (1) letter must befrom a physician or supervisor who has personally observed and evaluated theand can attest to clinical skills in the care of patients. Theother letter may be from a clinic or hospital administrator, physician or nursewho has personal knowledge of patient care skills in a similarclinical environment. Reference letters shall attest to communicationskills and ability to relate to patients as well as professional and otherinterpersonal skills among staff members and must include name, title, phonenumber, date of reference, address and signature of the individual providingreference.

• Maintain Active BLS through AHA or ARC. No others will be accepted
• Possess a minimum of one year experience as a Medical Assistant within the last three years.

• Participate in peer review and performance improvement activities.

Pay: $23.75 per hour
