REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

ESSENTIIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

SCOPE OF POSITION:

Responsible for the daily operation, monitoring, safety, general maintenance, PM’s, mechanical integrity, maintaining all written documents required for daily operation, and the repair or replacement of the ammonia refrigeration system equipment to operate cost efficiently and to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting and being actively involved with the policies of PSM/RMP and the goals and objectives of Tyson Foods.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; steel-toed work boots, ear plugs, hair net, hard hat, beard net (if applicable), chain glove, chain sleeve, belly guard, cutting glover (knife hand), wrist guard and smock. Cell phones and jewelry are not permitted on the factory floor.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT:

Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to steel-toed work boots, hardhats, hairnets, beard nets (if applicable), respirator (if required), and flame-retardant clothing (if applicable).
