Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our team.
Duties:
- Collaborate with operators and estimating department to understand project requirements and objectives
- Create 2D and 3D designs using CAD software such as Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, and NavisWorks
- Develop detailed mechanical designs for various components and assemblies
- Generate technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing purposes
- Assemble prototypes and perform testing to validate design concepts
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Tool Designer with a minimum of 3-5 years experience.
- Proficient in CAD software such as Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, and NavisWorks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles
- Familiarity with 2D animation software is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
