Quality Control & Listing Department Manager
Twining Consulting Inc dba RADCO, a nationally recognized Design Approval & Inspection Agency for industrialized buildings, Listing and Testing agency, is seeking a Listing & Quality Control Department Manager. This position is open to work either remotely or from the Fountain Valley CA office depending upon the applicant’s location. This position will report to the Vice President and will primarily be responsible for ensuring that Listing audits and the overall Quality Control program meet the requirements of various code body entities and ISO 17020. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to meet client’s needs as they work together to ensure that both technical and administrative requirements are met. All qualified applicants will be considered.
Job Duties:
Ensure sampling of listed products, testing of samples and reporting is completed by due dates.
Prepare new listings and update existing listings.
Write proposals for new listings and work with business development on promoting new business.
Coordinator scheduling to assure all audits are completed on time and update Master Inspection Schedule as required.
Review quality control manuals for compliance with criteria and ensure updates take place as required.
Review inspection reports to ensure criteria is being followed.
Coordinate Corrective Action Response (CAR)s to a successful completion; including but not limited to audits performed by RADCO or of RADCO.
Perform some audits for RADCO Listings and code body Evaluation Reports.
Manage all Listing Department employee and subcontractor field auditors.
Responsible for department compliance with all requirements of ISO 17020 including but not limited to participating in the internal IAS audits and working with the management team on the preparation for the audits.
Development and maintenance of department Standard Operating Procedures.
Developing and maintaining internal quality control manual for the department.
Work with the accounting department on invoicing and related matters.
Qualifications:
Preferred BS Degree in engineering or quality control systems related.
1-3 Years’ experience in construction/code enforcement and/or working with ICC codes/building materials.
Minimum 2 years in Quality Control procedures and programs.
Demonstrated experience working in ISO 17020 environment.
Qualified as lead auditor.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate clearly with coworkers, clients, and potential clients.
