Twinfield School District is a prek through Grade 12 school located in Plainfield, Vermont. The school has a close community and a sense of belonging for all.Twinfield Union School is seeking a full time math interventionist to work with middle and high school students. The math interventionist provides individual and small group instruction in various settings based on student need and collaboration with other math teachers. This position is part of a small but mighty math department serving students in 6th through 12th grade, and the interventionist would be working with colleagues to identify and address student needs as well as develop a system of assessment, progress monitoring, and meaningful instruction and intervention. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and instructional practices, is flexible, well organized, and is a strong collaborator. The math interventionist may teach one or two Tier 1 math classes per day. Teachers follow a Collective Bargaining Agreement for benefits and salary. Pay is based on degree and work experience. Teachers at Twinfield work a 7.5 hour work day and 185 days including in-service days. All teachers must be licensed in the endorsement they are working in.
