Readsboro Central School, serving the students & families of Readsboro, Vermont, is seeking an energetic, caring, inspirational, and multi-talented superhero to serve as a School Nurse (1.5 days/week). The individual in this position plays an integral role in building relationships and helping to keep our students and staff healthy and safe. Our small school is located near the Massachusetts border about 20-25 minutes from North Adams, Massachusetts and about 30 minutes from Bennington, Vermont, and has 4 classrooms (preK/Kindergarten, grades 1 & 2, grades 3 & 4, and grades 5 & 6) of 7-14 students per class. We have a total enrollment of about 40 students preK-6th grade.The ideal candidate will possess good communication and collaboration skills, the ability to remain flexible and pivot direction and duties as needed, and the ability to establish a positive rapport with students, staff and families alike.Candidates with the following additional qualifications are encouraged to apply: -Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of relevant nursing experience-Hold a valid license as a Professional Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Vermont-Hold, or be eligible to hold, a valid Vermont Educator's license with a 3-65 nurse endorsement-Knowledge of general nursing and school nursing concepts-Experience supporting students across broad aspects of the school's system of support
